This shell (I don't know what sea creature called it home) can
be typically found in the Caribbean, I believe. I saw them used as
ornaments in the Bahamas, though I bought mine a world away from there.
People sometimes think I've cleverly painted these shells this transcendent
color of blue! Absolutely not. Completely natural and unbelievable.

Total length from the top of the ear hook to the very bottom bead is
3-1/8 inches. Width: 1 inch across. Weight: These are not terribly heavy
but if you have sensitive ears or a lobe that has issues, these may not be
for you. My personal comfort level with this type of earring is about 6
hours of wear time. They are incredibly stunning when worn, and you would
suffer through a silly and uncomfortable high heel shoe for your fashion
anyway right? These are no where near as hurtful.
